A true testament to resilience, Guitarzan is a Thoroughbred gelding with a big heart and an even bigger story. After a long racing career that spanned 50 starts, he found himself in a Louisiana feed lot through no fault of his own. Resolute Racing stepped in to give him a second chance — bringing him to our farm, where he spent over a year resting, recuperating, and rediscovering what it means to simply be a horse again.

Once he was ready for the next chapter, Guitarzan was placed with our trusted partners at New Vocations, who did a remarkable job re-training him as a riding partner. In September 2025, he was adopted by a young rider in Florida, and together they now compete on the eventing circuit — a shining example of how Thoroughbreds can thrive in new careers when given time, care, and opportunity.
