Puca, a black-type winner in her racing career, has proven herself to be an exceptional broodmare. Acquired by Resolute for $2.9 million in 2023, she is the dam of MAGE (Good Magic), the 2023 Kentucky Derby (G1) champion, and DORNOCH (Good Magic), the 2024 Belmont Stakes (G1) winner and MGSW, solidifying her legacy as a producer of elite racehorses. Mage now stands stud at Airdrie Stud while his full-brother, Dornoch, stands at Spendthrift Farm.

Her latest rising star, Baeza (McKinzie), trained by John Shirreffs, dazzled in maiden special weight company with a dominant victory, earning an impressive 104 Beyer Speed Figure. Following that victory he stepped into Grade 1 company in the Santa Anita Derby where he delivered a strong performance to run 2nd. This race catapulted him into the 2025 Kentucky Derby making for Puca’s third consecutive starter in the Kentucky Derby! He delivered a strong performance on the first Saturday in May finishing up in 3rd! He now points to the Belmont Stakes.
