Dragones was purchased as a yearling for $1.7 million at the 2024 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Sale and is owned in partnership with Winchell Thoroughbreds. He is a half-brother to Grade 1 winner LEOFRIC. His second dam was a prolific producer, responsible for nine winners and is also the granddam of NATIONAL TREASURE.
