King Arthur
King Arthur, a Shire gelding with a big presence and an even bigger heart, was rescued from a kill pen at the start of summer 2025. Formerly a working horse, he found himself without a secure future—until Resolute stepped in to give him the chance he deserved.
Now the largest horse on the farm, standing easily at 18 hands, King Arthur has settled in beautifully. He’s embraced a more relaxed lifestyle and has become a favorite in our Pony Barn thanks to his friendly, curious personality. His story is a reminder that even the strongest horses sometimes need someone to stand up for them and that a new beginning can come at just the right time.
