Guitarzan, known as “Tarzan” on the farm—was rescued in 2024 from the same Louisiana kill pen as Winner. A true war horse, he had given everything he had on the racetrack, making 50 starts and earning over $200,000in his career. Despite his accomplishments and heart, he eventually found himself in a vulnerable situation with no secure future—until Resolute stepped in.

Tarzan required some rehabilitation upon arrival. Over the course of a year on the farm, he received the rest, care, and patience needed to recover both physically and mentally. His kind nature and willingness shone through every step of the way.

When he was ready, Tarzan was placed with New Vocations, who did a phenomenal job getting him back under saddle and preparing him for his next chapter. Their thoughtful training helped reveal the exceptional partner he could be.

In September 2025, Tarzan found his perfect match. He was adopted by a young rider in Florida, where he now competes confidently on the eventing circuit—healthy, thriving, and deeply loved. His journey from rescue to show-ring success is a testament to the power of second chances.
