2017 SongAndAPrayer / Just Like Annie
Prayforthewin, affectionately known on the farm as “Winner”, was rescued in mid 2024 from a Louisiana kill pen, arriving alongside another Thoroughbred we pulled that same day. While much of his past remains unclear, we do know he sustained an injury during his racing career and, after being retired, appears to have changed hands multiple times. Ultimately, his limitations as a riding horse left him vulnerable and without a safe place to land.
Resolute stepped in to ensure his story took a different turn. Winner is now a forever horse in our program, living comfortably and contentedly on the farm. With his gentle spirit and easygoing nature, he has become a quiet favorite among our team. Today, he spends his days relaxed, cared for, and finally secure, exactly as he deserves.
